Mounts to the brake master cylinder (m12 x 1.0 thread) and activates dash "brake" lamp if there is a pressure difference between the front & rear brake systems (internal slide in cylinder will move & press pin on switch to close lamp circut) - if fluid is leaking from the switch, the master cylinder is bad, no fluid should be in that part of cylinder.
